Bill C. Weeman
President
Benecia

Bill Weeman has over 25 years of experience in interior architecture/design, project management, program management, systems furniture design, purchasing and move management. Bill graduated Pratt Institute with a Bachelor of Industrial Design and started his Interior Design career in New York City as a project manager for Goldman Sachs Design; Construction Department before moving to Phoenix, Arizona in 1996. While in Arizona he worked for Facilitec Interiors for three years before joining AECOM in 1999. As an Associate Principal at AECOM, Bill has devoted most of his career to corporate commercial design. Bill relocated to California 5 years ago and worked on correctional medical facilities. He is now employed with Ware Malcomb in Pleasanton as a senior project manager working on a variety of project types including corporate commercial, industrial, tech industry and medical facilities.

Bill is certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualifications (NCIDQ) and also is a Certified InteriorDesigner (CID) in California. He has served on several program/curriculum advisory councils for colleges in Arizona. Bill is a professional member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) serving many board positions including president of the Southwest Chapter. He continues to serve on the board of the Northern California Chapter as VP of Advocacy. Bill has been involved with the Interior Design Coalition of Arizona and is now actively involved with the IDCC.

David Rance
Director of Finance
Santa Ana

David Rance established David Rance Interiors in 1989, where he focuses on mid to high end residential design. His education includes a degree in Fine Art, with a minor in Architecture, from Kent State University, Kent, Ohio, and a degree in Interior Design from Interior Designer's Institute, Newport Beach, California.

He is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and was President of ASID Orange County Chapter in 2006-2007. David served on the Practicum Committee for the National Certification for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ). He also was City Center Director, Orange County, for the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) for several years as well as being on their Board of Directors. Most recently David has been a member of the Council of Professional Organizations for IDCC.

Susan Coddington
Vice President - So Cal
Los Angeles

Susan joined architect, Robert Stinson in 1988 to found CDG Interior Design + Architecture (Chelsea Design Group, Inc.), located in the Century City area of Los Angeles. CDG, Inc. is a full service interior design and architectural firm committed to providing excellent customer service through qualified, senior level, professional team members. Encouragement of sustainable design practices; LEED accreditation of all managers; and long term associations with our valued clientele, brokers, managers, consultants and vendors in the commercial design and real estate industry, has enabled CDG to successfully evolve within a competitive industry.

Susan graduated from the University of Texas, in Austin, in 1982, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. She is has served as co-VP of Government Relations for the Southern California chapter of IIDA, which seeks to support future state legislation for the interior design profession. She is a professional member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), Southern California Chapter. Susan is also LEED Certified as an Accredited Professional for sustainable design practices.

Nick Steele
Vice President - Nor Cal
San Jose

With over 12 years of interior design and architectural experience in range of commercial markets from Health & Wellness, Education, and High Tech Office and R&D. Nick Steele leads Anderson Brulé Architects Interior Design efforts as a Service Leader and Senior Designer. With a passion for evidence based design and leveraging design thinking in non-traditional methods, Nick believes a strong concept is at the heart of any successful project. With a background in construction, Nick’s understanding of the entire process, from entitlements through occupancy and operations, has been invaluable to his design process.

Nick's passion for learning has driven him to share his knowledge with others as an Interior Design instructor at local colleges and universities since 2007. Nick has taught interior design at San José State University as well as The Art Institute of California - San Francisco and The Art Institute of California – Sunnyvale.

​

Nick’s interest for Interior Design began in school while attending San Jose State University where he received his BFA in Interior Design. An example of his passion to continue learning, Nick commuted from Silicon Valley to San Francisco to complete his MA in Industrial Arts at San Francisco State University. In addition to his role with IDCC, Nick is the Advocacy Chair for the IIDA Silicon Valley City Center.

Patricia K. Weiss

Patricia K. Weiss has been a professional interior designer since 1990 when she graduated from West Valley College in Saratoga, CA.  Working as the director of the interior design department for Salvatore Caruso Design Corporation in San Jose, an architectural firm focused on hospitality, churches and large commercial buildings, she provided project management, drafting, specifications, and client interface. After moving to San Diego in 2001 she established PKWeiss Interiors, specializing in construction project management for residential and commercial interior design clients.  Patricia has worked with many different types of clients, but is often led back to the world of architecture with its roots in construction and the built environment.  In 2011, she joined the firm of Whitmore Architects where she is a Project Manager.

Patricia is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and has been deeply involved with the Interior Design Coalition of California for many years as they work to bring recognition to the profession of interior design. She has served as the Co-Director of Communications and President for IDCC. 

Adriel Cogdal
Vice President - So Cal
Signal Hill

Adriel Cogdal established Adriel Designs in 1998 specializing in residential and yacht design following a career in the theater. Her education includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from the United States International University and an Associate of Arts degree in Interior Design from Brooks College. She is a professional member of ASID and has served the Orange County Chapter of ASID in many capacities including President in 2007-2008 and is the current President-elect.  She has been a member of the Council of Professional Organizations and vice president for IDCC.

Adriel has participated in Showcase Houses and has written for the Long Beach Home Improvement Magazine. She has appeared in two episodes of Designer's Challenge on HGTV. Her work has been published in local magazines and books.

Lisa Jasper
Vice President - Nor Cal
Alameda

Lisa Jasper, owner of Lisa Weber Design, is an award-winning, certified interior designer and past President of the California North chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers. She serves on the Board of Directors of IDCC, and is a member of NARI.

Lisa received her Bachelor’s Degree in Design from the University of California at Los Angeles. She works throughout the United States and has completed projects in California, Oregon, Washington, Chicago, Ill, Texas and in homes and offices along the east coast. Her work has been published in Luxury Kitchens and Baths, Alameda Magazine, Oakland Magazine and a series of weekly interior design articles published in the Los Angeles Times.

Robert Colson

San Francisco

Robert has been in the Commercial Interior Design Industry for over 22 years. He has held various roles over his career from Designer, Senior Designer, Project Manager, Design Director. He currently works for Pivot Interiors – San Francisco, as a Workplace Strategist.

Robert moved to Northern California in 2012, and prior lived and practiced in Las Vegas, Nevada for 10 years. Robert is actively involved volunteering with IIDA -Northern California, and currently serves on the Board as Co-VP of Advocacy.

Robin Stern
Secretary
Los Angeles

Robin Stern earned her professional certification in interior design from UCLA Extension in 2011, following a career as a television associate director.  An Allied member of ASID, she established rj Interior Design, with an emphasis in residential design.  She also holds a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Theater.  

Robin has served as an Officer or Board member for many non-profit organizations and worked with The Trust for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage (The Ennis-Brown House, where she was also employed as a manager) The New Visions Foundation; and several educational organizations.

​

Christine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminal Justice from California State University, Long Beach. She is a member of IIDA where she has served on the Orange County City Center Board for ten years and is the Vice-President of Advocacy.  She has been a Board member of IDCC for the past year and a half.  Christine is Chair of the Community College Working Group for the Orange County Business Council; Board Member and Co-Chair/Founder of Happy City; Mentor to a child at risk for Orangewood Children’s Home and 44 Women for Orangewood. 

After 22 years with a wide range of experience in the furniture industry, Christine started her own firm, Kaleidoscope, in 2016 to support workplace advocacy. Kaleidoscope contracts with hospitals, colleges, design firms, and Project Management Firms to support space planning budget needs, design concepts, standards and advocacy.
